Responsibilities: • Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of an organization's products and/or services. • Understands and implements a variety of the sales concepts, practices, and procedures as necessary to close sales. • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Performs a variety of tasks relative to both sales and pricing and negotiation with customers.. • Prepares and submits sales call reports and area activity. • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. • Research and resolve customer complaints through evaluation in consultation with manufacturing plant. • Provides input and recommendations to the management on possible new product applications or product requirements. • Keeps informed of competitors’ activities through review of information from the field and from other sources. • Travel throughout Western Canada
