product/market/distribution mix and execute on a short/medium and long term

Summary
This Business Development Manager will be responsible for
the overall management of the predisposition, edification and branding of this
leading supplier. This position is primarily responsible for increasing market
share by driving new revenues, developing new business through the application
of new technologies and increasing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Responsible for the
development and execution of the business development plan. This position involves
implementing innovative account penetration strategies in the consulting
engineering, municipal and construction markets. Developing and guiding new
product programs which will ensure sustained profit growth within the
business unit. Work with management to
develop and execute annual business plans including customer assessments. Prepare detailed business
plan with detailed goals, objectives and reporting system on goals.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:
Post secondary technical
education, ideally civil or geotechnical. Professional Engineer or
Registered /Certified Engineering Technologist.7+ years
sales/marketing/business development experience, with progression in scope
of responsibility and results. Entrepreneurial and margin
driven attitude. Strong analytical, problem
solving, and negotiation skills. Excellent oral and written
communication skills. Excellent organizational, planning,
and prioritization skills. Excellent interpersonal
skills. Experience with budgeting
processes and knowledge of financial systems. Strong interpersonal,
problem-solving skills are also required along with a desire and ability
to work and communicate as aPut some traction and excitement in
