Regional Manager HVAC (Relationship Sales) #1068 EDMONTON-CALGARY

BASIC FUNCTION:
 

1. To identify and qualify potential growth and business opportunity within the residential and commercial Wholesaler/contractor/engineer/home builder community in Alberta.

2. To develop and increase Wholesaler -Contractor - Engineer - Home builder awareness, knowledge and familiarity of the entire product line, package and promotions. 
 

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Identify potential Wholesaler/contractor/engineer/home builders and opportunities to increase sales of heating, cooling, refrigeration, filtration, air moving and related air handling equipment.
 
2. Provide information to Wholesaler/contractor/engineer/home builders; such as who and what our client is, product available features and benefits of product, product information, and delivery
schedules. Develop and maintain good relations with Wholesaler on an on-going basis and strengthen Wholesaler/contractor/engineer/home builder business relationships with national sales force to increase sales of our client’s products.
 
3. Determine Wholesaler’s requirements, specifications and complete engineering data sheet of name brands, as specified in the Sales Policy Manual, and monitor the progress of production.
 
4. Monitor product performance and appraise new applications in the field. Troubleshoot problems with assistance from Service, Engineering and sales force.

5. Co-ordinate with the Wholesaler -contractor - engineer - home builder, Wholesaler Service Representatives, Director of Wholesale, salesmen and the engineering department in order to develop new applications and opportunities utilizing Our Client's products.

6. Create, design, implement and execute marketing programs, training and education of the product line catalogues (training seminars) to wholesaler -contractor - engineer - home builders and their staff.
 
7. Develop Wholesaler/contractor/engineer/home builder profiles and databases. Update and maintain competitor’s profile in regards to pricing, product adjustments and marketing strategies for every Wholesaler/contractor/engineer/home builder.

8. Collect market data, process and tabulate into report form, summarizing Wholesaler and competitor actions (once a month). Prepare and present forecasting reports Director of Wholesale.

9. Continual self study in learning, understanding and selling of all new and older products in our client’s product line. Increase SKU listings, main focus. 

10. Develop strong business relationships with wholesalers, Wholesaler/contractor/engineer/home builders, OEMs and sales Wholesalers through proper usage of company tools. i.e. expense account, sales samples.
